It sure is a brand new system. Right now spotlight is indexing all of my files. I connected my keyboard, and am well on my way to see the magic.
First off; spaces is soooo kewl. It’s actually a classic feature common in unix window managers, but now it’s in mac os X too. Works as advertized, and damn smooth too on my macbook w/2 gig’s of ram. (it better…)
FYI spaces is a way to manage even more windows than even exposé can handle gracefully.
Second biggy; Cowerflow. Right in the finder. It’s not prone to make it as an everyday tool thats absolutely indispensable. But for browsing your movie library on on your networked storage, it completely rids the need for dedicated software, and adds that special feeling of theatre that i’ve been looking for.
Third; take control off remote computers via ichat. This is awesome. Equip your parents with mac doped with mac osx Leopard, and you can remedy their frustrastion from your own couch! nice…
All in all…. Leopard lives up to hype fully, with a pinch of excitement.
